March 22 patch notes (Overwatch boosting preview)
A FEW NEW AND EXCITING ADDITIONS TO OVERWATCH
Myboosting's Overwatch boost team is seeing a lot more changes lately and new ingame features are coming live almost each week.
With the latest 22th March patch a new map appeared - Route 66 which is a Payload map. We've been monitoring that the escort battlefields are one of the more favourted modes for competitive play while in normal games people like playing anymap. This addition is great for the Tournament play and brings yet again another unique athmosphere map.
Route 66 takes place in the historical earlier era American main street where a lot of action has taken place back in the days. The battleground looks amazing and is much different than all the rest visually. It's based on a road that players need to escort a payload and the surrounding wrecks of cars/trains and gas stations are the cover for you and your opponents. We've played a few games on the map and it is certainly worthy of being on of the awesome Overwatch maps.
A new play mode is added to the game - Weekly brawl, based on the Hearthstone feature it provides a match with different options to play, changing weekly (currently daily) the developers will set up your teams with a certain champion, make you play only a specific role or will swap your hero every time you die and more. It's fun and enjoyable for chilling and shooting and can give you an inside look of some of the heroes weeknesses and strengths.
A feature that we really like is the Highlights section on the main menu that gives you a replay of your last 5 games "Play of the games". This feature is awesome if you want to enjoy a good play that you made for a few times and maybe brag about it in front of your friends.
Play of the game itself has been changed a little since now it monitors four different playstyles and comperes them to select the one that stands above the rest. We've been seeing a lot of not worthy selections in the last few matches and this is a great news to all the players out there.
"Achievements" are now live and can be seen in the career profile section. Earning more rewards is always a good thing ! :)
A few balance changes both to maps and heroes have been implimented. One thing that stands among the general changes of the games is the fact that players that constantly finish their games will receive more experience and such that leave mid-game will get xp penalties which in our eyes will benefit for a better experience for all the fans of the game, attributing to more constant and even games and less trolls :)
